Het Goede Doel
Het Goede Doel, founded in 1979 by Henk Temming and Sander van Herk, was a successful Dutch-language pop group. With hits like België and Vriendschap, as well as their platinum debut album België (1982), they became immensely popular. Later, the band scored another hit with Alles kan een mens gelukkig maken in collaboration with René Froger. After internal tensions, the group disbanded in the early 1990s. In 2008, Het Goede Doel made a comeback with new material, but since 2015, the band has been inactive again. Their music remains an important part of Dutch pop history.
